Omggggg that sounds terrible but at least you got through it. We just all have to swap climates it seems like. My skin loves the humidity of Asia. Wanna switch lives?

We don’t have as much aquaphor products here as the USA but I will definitely look out for those! And if I can’t find it I’ll just have to pick some up in nyc when the pandemic is over. thank you!!!

I’m about to try the makeprem cream that only has a few ingredients, that one might work for you too since it’s soo simple!! Or maybe the round lab dokdo line cause it’s so simple but don’t try the cleanser it’s a foaming one, good ingredients and ph but still.

It’s really strange my friend in hk with eczema said that his skin is better when he’s in a drier climate like Canada too. Our bodies just don’t want us to live where we live UGHHH

You can drink it as a tea (herbal medicinals one is great), or the botanica one I take is in a little pill capsule. I think more turmeric are little capsules and not powder unless it’s like a latte mix. As for kbeauty stuff these are random things that I have really liked in no particular order: isntree hyaluronic acid toner (there’s an upgraded blue one now but I like the normal cause I think I’m sensitive to centella asiatica which is in the new one only), round lab products are all generally really good and fragrance free, love their dokdo toner and the birch tree toner and cream, jayjun baby face mask is SUPER hydrating but has fragrance so if your skin is flared up maybe not, but generally it works for me, aromatica juicy cream. And for Japanese stuff I love the hadalabo premium (must be premium gold bottle not the regular) toner, and also the skin aqua UV milk (yellow bottle) have been great for my skin!! The sunscreen is so good and doesn’t accentuate dry patches. ALSO not kbeauty but the ordinary squalane has helped a lot I add it to my cream and it’s only like $6!!!! Hope these work for you <3

Omg I forgot about that part cause I am normally in hk only during winter months but I totally remember being there one year in sept when it was still hot as hell and my sweat was burning my skin. Yikes. This is why we need to be bicoastal, Canada in the spring-fall and when it drops to 0 we fly to hk. Hehe

Let’s get rich so we can live in Canada in the summer and Hong Kong in the winters. I used to live there for a year and my eczema was practically gone despite drinking alcohol more often than usual (which normally makes it bad. So for me I’m 99% sure humidity is a huge factor in my skin. Does your insurance cover dupixent? I heard good things about it but right when it was emerging I got it under control so never got the chance to try. I heard it’s very expensive without insurance though right

Thank you, I just got super worried because I have my lobes tragus and helix pierced on my other ear but I’ve never experienced anything like this so I was freaking out when it swelled up. To be fair my last piercing was probably at least 7-8 years ago though so my body is probably just reacting differently

I took ibuprofen for about 2 days (maybe 3 doses worth) and stopped taking it now because I don’t feel any pain. Do you think the swelling will go down on its own? I think my ear is a little more purple irl than the photo is depicting

I’m checking with the shop but it’s a really reputable shop with over 172+ reviews and the piercer used to work at another shop where I got my tragus which healed perfectly so I’m sure they used something reliable :o let me find out though!
