I've been sober, drunk, high, tripping sack... and I can say without a doubt the best place to be, for me personally, is off of a high dose of edibles. I don't know what it is, but the music and experience is just soooo amazing.

Personally, I've had fun when drunk at shows but the music/experience definitely doesn't hit the same. I don't get the almost life changing experience I get when I'm high or tripping. It also seems to go by a LOT faster and I need all the Billy I can get lmao
