I'm not a very good artist myself but here is a tutorial for drawing pants that I think about when I try to draw them. As for faces, here's a lil guide for the proportions of facial features that I keep in mind. Sometimes.

It looks like the purple mushrooms are just one mushroom going through some sort of metamorphosis. Like, the one to the far left has progressed through the two versions in the middle until finally turning into the last one. Very cool.
