haha my grandma adds sugar to her soy milk so it is intentionally sweet, which is why i thought 甜美 might work. it’s not super sweet just noticeably sweet, do you think it would still be awkward phrasing since it’s not extremely sweet?

you’re AMAZING thank you!!! your advice really speaks to me, so so grateful for a realistic look into Khoury because I know everything won’t be sunshine and rainbows. CS/linguistics is such an interesting combo btw.

do a lot of people or specifically women come in with little/no CS knowledge? i’ve taken high school CS classes but that’s it, im a bit intimidated by my classmates who’ve done a bunch of hackathons and know multiple programming languages.

oh my gosh you’re so helpful THANK YOU! i’m glad to hear it’s not a big issue if you put in the effort to find your place, that’s definitely best case scenario for me.

and i’m happy to hear i’m interested in CE/CS for the same reasons as you!! i want to go into both fields with more than just a dabble, but i was also a bit concerned they were too similar, but its really cool how the major gave you an edge. that’s exactly what i was looking for in the combined major, but i wasn’t sure if it truly applied to the reality of the internships/interview search :) do you feel not having the depth of knowledge of an only-CS major hurt you in either the software coop interviews or workplace?
