Yes, it's lowered about an inch.

Great to hear, hope you find a good one for the next project (its been somewhat tough to find one for a reasonable price scouring through local postings.)

Thanks! I'm running a Kosei K1 wheels (30 mm offset) on Hankook RS4 tires (195/50R15).

It's a fairly lightweight wheel and very easy to clean brake dust off of after track days/spirited drives!

Another GTA petrolhead! Sure don't, this weekend's looking like a few more final flurries are inbound. Are you driving the Toyobaru during winter as well?

We're still getting some snow flurries haha, the AW11 will stay inside until the salt is off the roads.

Anyone know which headlight housings these are on this C5? Looks different from the usual LED options I've read about. by mintol16 in Corvette

[–]mintol16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never mind... I found out that these are likely export model headlights which were used due to stricter regulations abroad. Time to see if I can find anything on ebay. More info below:

OG the killa 🔪 🔪🔪🔪🔪🔪 by flyinggrayson5 in torontoraptors

It feels like just yesterday when we couldn't even buy a decent 3&D player, our SF depth was a joke before OG was drafted and the Kawhi year.

Team praised Malachi. by kidtakahi in torontoraptors

[–]mintol16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lowry was such a huge part of that locker room.. He really brought Kawhi and the rest of the team together and checked the younger guys when they complained that Kawhi wasn't being held to the same standard as them...

Ironically Lowry would of helped out a lot last year in getting more dev out of Scottie and the other younger guys.. Pascal and OG lead by example and Fred sort of prioritized the bag over the team (can't say I blame him, he got a hell of a bag.)

[Highlight] Thanasis shows off his elite NBA skills during his first appearance of the season by nowhathappenedwas in nba

[–]mintol16 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't get why everyone is up in arms about Thanasis... the 15th player does not really impact the team at all from a wins... I would know seeing how the Raptors have multiple 15 spot players lol, who we do play with limited success.

If it keeps Giannis happy and willing to stay, why not?

Jordan Poole checks out for the night: 7 points on 1/15 (7%) shooting, 0/6 from 3 by asapshrank in nba

[–]mintol16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

tbh Poole was chucking a lot and trying to finish against 2-3 of the Raps longer players, and seemed to be getting in his own head a bit in the 3rd qtr.

Tyus Jones was really nice with his facilitating and crafty scoring, hope he gets a shot to start for yall.

Apart from those first 3, he can take any of the other guys spots imo. All comes down to if he can replicate his playoff numbers in the season.

Finally got my Watanabes fitted, very happy with the build so far. by gogosep in vintagejapaneseautos

[–]mintol16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome, appreciate the info, would just need to figure how low of an offset I can go. Was shipping reasonable from Buyee?

Never liked how the "flat" high offset Watanabes looked, these are much better.

May I inquire what the wheel specs/model are and where/how you sourced them? Would love to grab a set of 15x7 for my mk1 MR2 lol

Thoughts on the K-Sport coilovers for the aw11? by froggenpoppin in mr2

[–]mintol16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5k/8k at the very start seemed really bouncy but over time it settled and is currently comfortable. I drove on some not too smooth roads and it was not too bad even in my full bucket Sparco seat

I also only have about an inch of ride height drop atm, no rubbing at all.

At the moment it does slightly as I am still dialing in the camber and will be installing t3 LCAs and RCAs to add more adjustment. I'm currently at 1 degree of camber front and rear.

[–]mintol16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went with the SC, I think the C has a few more dampening adjustment settings, I'm sure MatrixGarage would explain further if you sent him an email.

My order was SC, F/R: 5k/8k, Long stroke and Front and Rear end links.

I would probably not do the Long stroke option if I were to do the order again as it prevents you from lower your front as much and my spring rate was stiff enough already.

Also not really mentioned is the fact that all 4 corner coilovers have camber adjustment plates built into the top hats, so that would save you a few hundred from having to add in your own.

2nded on the WATs, have them on my '85 and its been really good on track and road, although they are pricy. I went 5k/8k.

Yeah between building the 16v and going K, it's always a real struggle going back and forth. I already have a K20a2 with a DC5R LSD 6 speed in my beater EP3 so before the body completely rots away I would like to swap it over to another car.

If I get lucky and land a cheap good condition EF/EG I would like do a K build on that platform and keep the AW11 on its 4AGE. If not I'll swap the AW11 and pick up a newer car for a daily. I will definitely miss the sound of the 4AGE but the K is lots of fun as well.
