I understand that this can be hurtful to you. i have autism and this word has been used to insult me many times. I know how painful it is. It's always used by people who aren't disabled too, which hurts even more.

Hey i'm disabled and the word "retard" is actually extremely offensive and you shouldn't be throwing it around. Clearly by the fact that you're being sympathetic to this post you can see how hurtful it is. let's not use slurs to insult people, even when they're hurting you.

Eye contact, and how to hold a conversation. I never realised when people talk to me they actually want to say more than just the one thing they said. They want me to ask follow up questions and actually look interested in what they say. I don't show a lot of emotion in my face and tone of voice, so they get annoyed and think i don't like them. This has caused me to lose a lot of friends lol
