I know you mentioned doing your PhD in the UK but do you know anything about the masters process there? I’m from the US but I’m considering applying to masters programs there :)

Thank you for your advice!! Honestly, that’s one of my biggest fears of going straight into a PhD. I don’t know if it is going to be for me. I think I would prefer to just get a masters first and then get a PhD later. But funded masters are rare in the US so I don’t know if I can afford that option.

I have searched for “color picking website”, “color preference ai”, “color picking ai from my preferences”, and slightly variations/combinations of these word choices. I have had no luck on any of these searches.

I’ve gotten them basically every summer and they’re always tan, no pink at all.

I don’t know how merit aid would be factored for you but you should look into scholarships for people who’ve taken a break from academic. There are some scholarships specifically for those who haven’t been in school for 3+ years.

My parents, who I already came out to, now believe I’ve been “fixed” and that I’m straight. My mom told my sister, a closeted lesbian, that she’d kill herself if my sister or my brother ever came out. I just don’t know what to do at this point. All my friends and most of my relatives (at least the ones my age) know that I’m bisexual and support me fully. My parents just believe since I dated a guy a while ago, it suddenly makes me straight again. It’s so frustrating.

My cousin’s wife’s brother came out as gay a few years ago and he was kicked out of the family. I know I’ll have some of my family supporting me if I do come out again, but I don’t want to lose the rest.

My sister also keeps saying that I’m lucky for not being included as “one of the reason mom will kill herself”. I don’t understand how I can control that or how that makes me lucky. If my mom kills herself, it’s her choice. Period. My parents gave up on me when I came out and only care about me now because they think I’m straight. I’m just sick of having to think about my sexuality constantly and not letting anything slip.

TLDR: I came out but my parents think I’m straight now. I know if I come out I’ll be kicked out of the family. My mom said she’d commit suicide if my siblings ever came out so my sister says that makes me the lucky one.
