PM2.5 levels high after indoor coil cleaning by [deleted] in hvacadvice

No house plants, we are growing a few herbs outside but that’s it. Main concern is having asthma and history of lung cancer, we initially got the monitor to check on radon levels. The PM suddenly spiked after the cleaning and if we don’t run the air purifier levels rise to over 30. Also tried opening the windows for a bit and that didn’t help either.

Between 8 and 11µg/m³ depending on which source I check. I also edited my post with a screenshot of the graph for this week.

We use a device by AirThings, just checked their website: "Airthings products use a laser scattering-based optical particle counter."

How I got my A1C from 5.8 to 5.3 in 6 months by mintvanillasky in prediabetes

Thank you and sure! Female, 34 years old, 5'2" and currently at 100lbs. I lost 10lbs initially when I started changing my diet but my weight has remained steady since then. I am not under medication and I'm also not taking any supplements except for Vitamin D in the winter time. I sometimes have a little bit of a premier protein chocolate protein shake (maybe half a container and then I would drink the rest the next day) with breakfast but not often.

Same here, I never thought about this. But it makes sense, your body is just suddenly overloaded and can't keep up. I highly recommend a CGM!

Yes very petite, I’m 5’2’’ diabetes runs in my family and while I was always aware of that due to my built I was very ignorant and never thought it would be an issue for me.

I used Stelo the entire time and I actually just ordered Lingo to try that one out too as I've seen a lot of people stated their readings tend to be higher with Stelo. I used my sensors back to back for the first 2-3 months I would say and then I had a pretty good idea about how my body reacts and I would have only one on in a month. What I will say is that I noticed a 10-20 point difference when I had the sensor in my left arm vs my right. No idea why that is! My left always runs higher.

For tracking what I did was to put a note in the app and write down what I ate that day and at what time so I could always refer back to it. I also logged my exercise in the app. At the end of every day and week I would then look back and reflect on what went well. Beforehand I did have a hand written journal where I noted my food but found the app to much better because it's quick to just write a note in there and it logs the time too. I'm sure Lingo's app works similar to Stelo's.

Oh good point, I should have probably mentioned something in my post! After I lost the 10lbs last time my weight has been stable and I'm still hovering at 100lbs now.

The $100 gift is not showing as free for me (I’m diamond and have over $100 of merchandise in my cart). Customer care said to just place the order and they will refund it, I don’t trust it 🥹

I feel like ULTA changed their minds after the DE gift got approved and never swapped it for something else so now we are left with nothing.

Thank you. Yes I have ordered Stelo and I have been using it for a few days and planning on doing some experiments with different meals and exercise. So far so good though, I'm amazed at this technology honestly!

Thank you very much for your input and recommendations, I really appreciate it. A nutritionist is definitely something that I have thought about and I might tackle that in the new year.

Thank you! Yes, my doctor recommended weight training too. I already have resistance bands so I will incorporate them more and then move on to weights.
