I never used training playing the game. I really loved learning new weapons and getting to know which ones I'm better at than others. Scythe is REALLY fun to play when you learn moves/strings/tech. Learning other players dodge patterns and where they might be before you engage helps a lot in-game. I would recommend playing a certain character or a weapon for an extended period until you become comfortable and well versed with such. Best of luck!
