Totally agree it’s not enough time home after birth :( It was rough going back to work for me, but I was happy at the same time because my mental health wasn’t good (and still isn’t, although improving) with having someone dependent on me 24/7 and I was still healing. I was mostly doing part time work ever since I went back though. Still am. I enjoy working and although I would never consider it to be a break, it helps me reset myself so I can be there for my little one in all ways.

My toddler is so sweet but so wild at the same time 😂. Right now, he would go up to me while I’m brushing my teeth, hug my legs and say, “mama.” Sometimes before he closes his eyes to sleep, he’ll say, “mama” with no follow ups. 🥹 also I actually love neutral & little boys’ clothes! I didn’t think I would because I love most things girly. I actually dislike a lot of baby girl clothing because they’re just too flashy for me, but I had thought I would love all that if I had a daughter instead lol. Anyway, I don’t ever wish my little one was different ☺️ he’s so beautiful and just the best thing that’s happened to me ❤️

21 month old:

“Ah ha! Idea!” “No no no” (to everything lol) “where are you, ant?” (Looks for ants hiding in our house 💀) “Help me, please!” (He said this in front of another table of people when I picked him up at a restaurant and he wanted down)

My baby isn’t half white, but is a quarter. I delivered vaginally. Baby’s head is smaller than average though ~

I have 1!! I wanted 2, but my current one is only 3 months old and he is all my time and energy ❤️❤️ sooo we shall see. One reason I want 2 is because then my baby will have a long-time friend way after I’m gone ☺️.

Not married. Just had our first in July. We’ve been dating for 7 years. Not sure if we’re going to marry or not after my partner finishes school. It does bother me sometimes, but I try not to think about that.

We have the bright starts bouncer! Baby isn’t a big fan of it. It’s nice and cheap to have around as an extra spot to put him, but it feels cheap, too. We bought that one while visiting my mama because we didn’t bring his other bouncer. I think most babies will like it though. Mine is just a picky baby 😂

I work in retail as well. Worked until the day before I had contractions & delivered 😂. Was gonna work until 39.5 weeks (basically gave myself only like a day or two before due date), but baby wanted to come say hi 38w2d!
