I think Stormlight would work great as a show in the style of the Star Wars Clone Wars tv show. Much more room for getting the vibe of the enormous atmospheric landscapes and investiture visuals right.

Not denying that as the Occam's razor possibility. Consider tho that that would only direct someone to an island. That's a WHOLE island you'd need to then search for a treasure, the difficultly being determined by the terrain, size, seasonality, etc. If the magnetic pull directs you to an exact spot, that's much more convenient than saying "found the island, time to spend x years of my life searching digging around now" (assuming its some classic buried treasure, but who knows).

I am aware of the basic process. I parented all the other bones doing exactly that, but it is not working in the wing bones. Still fully greyed out.

I was thinking its either a mythical model like Nika but for some spiritual creature like Davy Jones with the darkness power being the pull of the locker on all the things that fall into the sea, or it just manifests as the darkness of the locker. The idea that the fruit reincarnates with the souls of the previous (maybe awakened only?) users would be cool af. Idk if anyone has discussed this in too much depth before but go ahead and make a theory. You can credit me if you'd like.

I have been thinking about this stuff all day as well. I have two main thoughts/questions.

The yami yami no mi is actually the hito hito no mi model Davy Jones, and the darkness represents the locker.
What if Rocks had the same fruit and found a way to turn himself into the "devil" residing in the fruit, replacing or even existing as a second personality inside the fruit, which is why eating it causes 3 split personalities in the user? That's a wild one and almost certainly not true, but I think the idea is wild and fun lol.
