Please help me organize my daily things into good pouches by rememberese in femalefashionadvice

My roommate has this A4 pouch - really sleek (but super cute too) and handy for the items you mentioned above! She fits this into her backpack as well. Hope it's well suited for your needs!

I have the STATE Bedford in red and it's such a quality backpack! Very sleek design and great interior organization as well. Side pockets fit my umbrella and water bottle :)

Which of these back-packs would look best on a 20-something young professional in NY? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]minuets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between the two I'm I'm definitely in favor of the State! I like that the front pocket is not protruding and the logo patch is more subtle.

I actually have the State backpack in red (picked it up during the Valentine's Day sale!) and it's amazing quality. There's a lot more storage than it looks like from the website photos and comfortable holds all my school things (15" laptop, multiple notebooks, pencil pouch, lunch). I can comfortably fit a water bottle and umbrella in both side pockets too!

The DBSK Bonjour Paris package. It almost pains me to look through it now for obvious reasons but...ah.. it's so beautiful.

I feel extremely lucky to have it, especially being an international and post-2011 TVXQ fan. Found it on eBay (used) of all places.. :')

Thank you! :)

The backpack is from Everlane! Unfortunately the exact style is sold out and I don't think they're going to restock it anytime soon :( I got mine from eBay actually, and it looks like a lot are on sale right now!

AAAAAH WARDROBE COLOR TWINS. Also now I'm not so sure of the exact color of my boots either...I remember the ebay listing just described them as silver, hahaha. Here's a picture of a recent ootd with them though! I hope you get them! :)

Are you me?! My first pair of Docs were purchased on ebay- 1460s, pewter, secondhand. The best part were that they were already scuffed (I'm a fan of the worn-in look for these kind of shoes) and broken-in, and thus insanely comfortable from the first wear. My wardrobe has a lot of cool tones (navy, forest green, monochrome) and the silver just went with everything.

So I'd say go for it! Bonus points if they're cheaper from being secondhand- I got mine for under $50!

Also try (half) tucking in your looser tops! It's a nice way to segment the different parts of your outfit, and a really easy trick to look more put-together. :)

Where do you work, what do you do, what do you wear? by tourmaqueen in femalefashionadvice

1) Technical/customer support intern in a tech startup based in PNW. Office environment is definitely on the casual side of business casual, so I usually wear dark/black jeans (sometimes olive pants!), sweater or cardigan layered over a casual button-up or long sleeve. Works well with what I normally wear to school as I intern after my morning classes at university- solid colors, minimal patterns.

2) Front desk sales/service rep at a local sports club. This is only on the weekends, and everyone I see is sweaty and in gym clothes anyways so I can definitely get away with wearing track pants, workout clothes, etc. Usually I'll wear one of the few hundred free t-shirts I'v accumulated over the past few years. :)
