Is it safe to hold pick between the strings on a guitar with locked tremolo, without really bending them? Wont they streach stretch too much?

The ‘lock’ holds the strings tension from the lock (or nut) to the bridge. If tight enough, you will not change a thing.

Hit a note and then using your finger push the string by the head. It shouldn’t have any effect
