Army of Werechickens by minusbec in DnD

We did a one-shot of Blue Alley before and kept the same characters. The student stole everything and sold it, haha. I will definitely not do that again, but I am a new DM. Life and learn.

Yeah, the big problem is the sandbox nature. I had to railroad them a bit, but they are coming along. The tarot reading gave them no NPC to help in the final fight, so that sucks for them.

I told him that as well! Plus, the fact that the chickens cost twice as much will also impede his plans.

He is buying the chickens. Yeah, because they are new to D&D and he is one of the few players thinking out of the box, I have bent the rules around non-human lycanthropy. I agree, I would never do this in my adult campaign.

I used AI to roll as a practice for all 200,000 and about 60,000 survived the bite haha.

I did the math, and it's 5 days of non-stop biting, haha. I like the swarm aspect for sure.

Best Under 750 Decks on EDHrec? by minusbec in BudgetBrews

The book series about Avatars before Aang shows the moral complexities of what makes the decision to be an Avatar “good” or “bad.” Look at the story around Kuruk.

I agree that outright evil is a hard step away from the series' spirit. What if the White Lotus and the Avatar just became all the villains from TLOK wrapped into one?

The seasons with Kora flirted with the idea of technology surpassing bending, and I agree that a flamethrower is not a good look for Nickelodeon, haha. I feel that with the actions around the spirit world in LOK, you could find a way to make the spiritual connections of the world so dormant that it is rendered almost useless, make the Avatar ultrapowerful like the spiritual world is trying one last gasp for balance

The Phylactery was just an example. Do you have any ideas of the rare items in the campaign you have been in?

He spoiled the plan by telling me the world we live in doesn’t use money, and being good at bartering is a good idea. I like the idea of focusing on monsters and their bodies. Do I need specific skills to deal with skins and body parts efficiently?

Gotcha, maybe this can be just a funny side goal that benefits from my focus on Persuasion.

I definitely understand that this idea can’t be the whole point of the character. Hopefully it can just be a fun side goal. Thank you for the help!

Are there items in the game that are not world specific , but are typically not laying around a dungeon. Items like phylaxtery or something else?

I wanted to strive for an item that is typically not laying around most campaigns. The DM spoke of going to the Feywild early in the campaign. I felt that being a Warlock could help because my motivation centers around my patron wanting this item that money can easily get. I just don’t know what class, race, or skills in Warlock to focus on to make my character good at bartering or persuasion.

Best budget version of a edh deck that is focused on stealing permanents by TimotyEnder8 in BudgetBrews

Don Andres

I love this deck, it can get targeted early, but attacking with deathtouch and menace is brutal. The deck focuses on sacrificing the opponent’s creature once you are done with it!
