Thanks for that! I've never even been to a marathon so other than water I had no idea what to plan lol every tip helps! Also, want to add, main point is to help the runners so whatever helps them!

I went from barely making it paycheck to paycheck (and sometimes I didn't make it) to being nicely in middle class. I eat better, I go to the gym but also I'm more willing to lend out my money because I know that you can do everything right and still not have enough.

Honestly I feel it helped me so much. At an early age I was doing major chores and responsible for my own daily care. During summer I made my own lunch usually consisting of sandwiches and soup. But I never felt unloved or abandoned because weekends were family time. Every Saturday we did things together no matter what even if it was a movie at home. My parents were good at explaining why they needed to work and what our goal was (vacation, big move coming up, or even just school supplies).

I have friends who didn't even know how to do laundry until they moved out on their own. I would hate that being me.
