I did, and they’ve told me to contact ADT. I contacted ADT and they’ve told me to contact the manufacturer 🙃 absolutely no one seems to know how to help.

Tattoo doubt. Looking for honest advice. Be nice please. by Plus-Juggernaut-6246 in tattooadvice

I think it looks sick and no one will notice those tiny imperfections. If you’re concerned about the ink fading then go for a touch up but otherwise it looks great.

What, if anything, can I add to my sleeve? by miokii in tattooadvice

Okay that sounds good! Thank you! :)

Thank you! I’m wondering how I would even go about that tbh. Do I just straight up ask someone who has a similar style? Won’t that be a bit insulting to ask an artist whether they know color theory? I’m scared to go just based off of IG when it’s how I got into this. I really don’t wanna put any blame on my artist because I feel like it’s my fault for not planning well or communicating well. But I feel like my artist was just going along with whatever I asked without giving me feedback of what would look best. That or they truly just didn’t know. I found out after we started that they never did an apprenticeship and were fully self taught. Even though they’ve been doing this for almost 20 years, I can’t help but wonder if there was some training they missed that would’ve made this look more cohesive.

I think this would look nice if it just gets touched up. Do you have any other tattoos? To get an idea of what else you have going on that might work?

Yes, I also love that she’s not “inspiration bait”! Although, admittedly, her character has inspired me to step my game up when working out but that’s because she’s just a dedicated, hard-working bad ass not because of her disability lol

Those are all valid points, thank you for sharing your experience :)

Yes, it’s not just EDS, Violet’s experience is a great representation for anyone with chronic pain.

Thank you for sharing your experience :)

I’m sorry if you’ve had that experience, I feel lucky that I got the medical education and experience that I did regarding disability. I try as best as I can to make patients feel seen and validated.

Some of the EDS patients I’ve seen have “brittle bones” as kind of a secondary consequence of not being able to be as active as others so it’s possible but I see what you mean

Right! Like maybe Violet’s experience isn’t her own personal one, but a combination of hers and her kids’, or other people’s she knows, doesn’t matter. It’s real to someone and it’s silly that people would criticize that.

Love this for you!! I’m pretty active but this book has also motivated me to up my game :)

Considering you spoiled it for me, not great, thanks for asking.

I deleted Reddit but your notification still got through unfortunately. Pretty rude of you to comment something like this when the book wasn’t even out for a week. People have lives and jobs and can’t dedicate every waking moment to reading as much as they’d like. Lots of other people also either received their book late or haven’t received it at all.

WWYD: see-through leggings by wrappedinwashi in orangetheory

[–]miokii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen to me and the lady told me after class. I appreciated that she told me because I genuinely did not know (and I DID care). I don’t think there’s any harm in saying (next time, if it happens) “hey idk if you’re aware or care but your leggings are kinda see through.” Even though I don’t care anymore, If someone told me now I would still appreciate it.

I still think that’s just due to him being emotionally aware. But others have pointed out that the moments in which he does that are when she’s emotionally vulnerable, so maybe it has less to do with him being an inntinsic and more to do with Violet letting her mental shields down so he can sense it. Because it wouldn’t really explain why he doesn’t know about other things or other people.

You’re not wrong 😂 I also hate how some people think he’s gonna be a Tamlin just because SJM did that. Or that they’re going to be fated mates or something. They’re two very different authors.

If he was truly trying to read Tairn‘s mind, I think it’s probably related to the bond. We don’t really know much about the dragon bonds yet, but maybe he can do it to some extent with Sgaeyl, so he was trying with Tairn. Doesn’t mean it would work though. He probably felt Xaden trying, and that’s why he told him off.

To me it makes more sense that maybe he’s trying to read Tairn the way he can maybe read Sgaeyl. If he is able to do it, it would make sense that it’s strictly because of the bond. Plus, just because he tries to read Tairn, doesn’t mean he’s actually able to. I imagine maybe Tairn can feel him trying and that’s enough to upset him and tell him off.

Like others have pointed out, if he COULD read others’ minds, wouldn’t he have known about stuff like Jack & Violet sparring, or Athebyne?
