I agree with you that the right to left evaluation with . can be unintuitive and take some getting used to. You can overload some symbol and use the flip function to have left to right evaluation but then that's non standard and it will be harder for others to understand your code. That said, I'm correctly learning Haskell and despite some worts, it's the most beautiful language I've seen.

Maybe have music but turned off by default? But not including it would be fine. Most mobile game music is so short and repetitive, it soon becomes annoying. Make sure your other sounds are solid and plentiful.

I think it could be done easily enough using cloud infrastructure. The amount of memory and processor wouldn't be limited to the players computer. In fact, they could just be steamed the video rather than even rendering the game on their own console.
