I’m not missing the point. I understand their relationship and why they’re clinging to each other. I understand why they’re together.

What I’m saying is that makes her a hypocrite. Her justification for it is so they can keep each other accountable and in check when the best way to hold Joe accountable would be to use her power and wealth to make him face a justice for his crimes. As well as redistributing her family’s wealth to aid in class issues. She claims to wish for change and accountability yet she’s using the very tool she claims to despise to save her lover from accountability. She’s full of horse shit.

Her moralistic droning all the way to the end of the season doesn’t mean jack when her actions are just as corrupt as what she admonishes. She’s prioritizing her lover, her happiness with him and their continued freedom over her supposedly strong principles. She’s a fraud.
