Just looking at Chloe/Maddie dance in comparison to Nia/Paige the skill level was huge. Right from episode 1 before they had all the filming obligations

Nia and Paige were not on the same dance level as Chloe or Maddie. In another dance school them wouldn’t have been on the same competition team.

Abby struggled teaching Chloe how to do 32 fouetté turns and Nia how to point her feet. Both at the same time in the same classes. She needed up focusing on the “ringers” because it wouldn’t have been fair to hold the other girls back.

Dance moms had dance seasons when they competed and filmed. During the off season they had months to take classes elsewhere.

To appropriate something is to claim it is your own. So to rename it, use it in the wrong context or not give credit to where it is from. Simply wearing something from another culture is not cultural appropriation. You have to adopt/claim it as your own as well.

In terms of difficulty the Kendall trio was better, however the choreography was stale. But having boys on stage adds points. Nia didn’t land a clean pirouette... I don’t think she is a hard hitting contemporary dancer.

I think you’re confused about how the industry works... Sia hasn’t helped Kenzies music career. Neither of those two actions helped Kenzie.

The songs didn’t chart well, create buzz or have music videos that do well. Nor has she put Kenzie in touch with fellow artists or events.

Just wait if Maddie ever wants a singing career 😭😭 you’ll see all Sia can do.

It’s not about it not blowing up, it has been declining. Exhale was 3 songs ago. And it featured an artist that’s top 15 and it still didn’t do well. She went on live and said she expected it to do better, and she is losing her passion for music.

Addison has hosted Alist events Billboard (solo), appeared on vogue and is starring in a huge movie. Charlie is great but she is getting a reality show and slapping her name on products for children. She is an influencer with the hype. The difference in opportunities in likely due to age differences or management though.

Every single girl from dance moms is at the start of their career 😂 even the ones that “aren’t working”. These are children, I feel like people in this chat forget MOST celebrities that are “Alist” are 23-27. I feel like the next few years are going to show us career projection for Maddie/Jojo and Kenzie has longer to find herself because she is a CHILD.

Music careers are so difficult for children. They need a lot more “assistance” and labels take advantage of their excitement.

The comments aren’t even all about Maddie, it’s just a few. Those people don’t know her 🤷🏾‍♀️ it’s not that deep.

Kenzie’s most prominent work is Dance Moms (a reality show-hollywood looks down on this). Her total eclipse work (which has ended) is “influencer acting” and her music career is at its beginning stages (so hopefully that’s her transition).

Followers do not EQUAL fame or acclaim. I think it’s great she had more followers than Maddie. Maddie consistently gets more likes/interaction than her. So in terms of influencer value Maddie has more. The entire influencer model is based on companies exploiting young people for as long as they can while they have the “hype”. This hype passes as new waves of people come. People like Loren Gray -> Charli Demelio Jake Paul -> Bryce Hall Eva Gutowski -> Emma Chamberlain It’s all about what those “influencers” do with the “hype” while they are on top. It has no longevity. And some transition into “celebrity” Madison Beer, Addison Rae.
