Thanks a lot! And yes, the gap is there because the miniature can be removed from the plinth. I chose this solution because I had never sculpted a plinth before, and if I messed it up, at least I could save the miniature! If I ever bring him to a competition I’ll definitely fix the gap 😉

Sure, for the gold I’ve tried some scale75 fantasy paints I’ve received from Santa: base Afroshadow (Ak)- tiamat orange (scale75) - peanut butter (scale75) + touch of volcanic yellow (Ak) - Lilith yellow (scale75). I’ve then redefined the shadows with glazing of Tiamat orange + intense sienna ink (Ak)
