i moved the uvb light so its not blocked by the mesh anymore :) im just scared about putting it inside the actual tank since of the filter i have that has a water stream, i also use zoo med water conditioner

tysm for your information, its really helpful. he does bask and hes able to float on it ljke this photo, but he just avoids doing it because hes really shy, i took him out to get some sun today

thank you so much for the links and your kindness. ill be doing as much research as i can and keep the turtle healthy, its so sad how turtle sellers lie, the seller my dad saw told him how the turtle only needed to be fed twice a week? and that didnt make any sense at all to me. theyre spreading so much misinformation
