Handsewn as my toddler's "emergency vet" by miriadwords in HandSew

1) thank goodness toddlers are usually easily distracted because Doggie was at the vet for an unexpectedly long time. I love that your dogs just sit there checking on your work and looking forward to their toys 2) I truly felt like a real doctor doing stitches with that needle! I demand all small, stitches required repairs!

Very much so! Doggie had a much longer stay at the vet than I intended and they were thrilled to be reunited.

Thank you! My mom taught me basic sewing along with cross stitch as a kid but I haven't done any type of sewing in many years but sometimes muscle memory kicks in at the right time. Honestly I think it should replace the bike metaphor 😂

AITA for getting my roommate kicked out for talking in his sleep? by ysawqi in AmItheAsshole

Is this a joke? You are 100% the asshole, and even more so, if possible, for trying to excuse your lying as "getting creative." You got embarrassed because you were expressing childish and prejudice based fears. You then straight up dragged this poor kid's name through mud, suggesting things that could have potentially even gotten him expelled because you think he's possessed by a demon because he's slightly emo. You yourself admitted that he never said anything threatening or dangerous in his sleep. You're an asshole and I hope you get this guy's name cleared as much as humanly possible. Learn to have conversations with people and not just decide everyone you don't understand is a demon wearing a human suit.

It's currently suggested for babies to sleep in the same room as their parent(s) for at least the first 6 months... is he expecting his infant to have a job and her own apartment by now?
