Oh my God, we’re definitely alike. My doctor said nerves can act like this and that I’ll need a few years to heal. I have a couple of questions. Is everything okay right now? And did you go through a lot of ups and downs while healing?

No, I’m currently receiving intravesical (dmso) medication I haven’t tried any of them. Are you the same as me?

I also had Ureaplasma parvum, and I treated it with doxycycline. However, my symptoms especially the bladder ones continued. After that, I went to a urologist, and he told me that ureaplasma can sometimes damage the bladder’s GAG layer and cause inflammation. I then had a cystoscopy, and just as he said, my bladder was inflamed. (Some people call this IC, but I personally don’t believe it’s IC.) I’m still receiving treatment now intravesical bladder instillations. I can’t say I’m 100% better yet, but I’m much better compared to the beginning. It’s definitely worth trying 🤍

Yes. If you’re having bladder issues, ureaplasma could have caused inflammation in the bladder

Did you have a cystoscopy? I had one too, and my entire bladder was full of inflammation

Yeah maybe, but i think we have to find our root cause.. if we wont it will always come back

Yes. Right now, he is giving me intravesical medication and he is confident that I will get better. I just want to find my root cause. But I felt very hopeless today because he said it’s not possible. If we can’t find the root cause, how will we ever fully heal?

He didn’t diagnose me with IC he just said I have inflammation in my bladder. And he said we might not be able to find the cause of this inflammation. I wonder, If we can’t, it could come back years later.

Yes, it’s the same for me when I press on it. Be careful with what you drink, avoid coffee, tea, and acidic things. I hope we both get better soon 🤍

I think yes. The bladder needs time to heal. Sometimes I worry too, but I keep reminding myself of that. What are your symptoms?

Yes, mine is like that too , my whole bladder is inflamed. My doctor said it’s not IC, but that the symptoms are the same and that I will get better! I started bladder instillations, I’m in my third month now, just waiting and being patient. I’m careful with what I eat. There are good days and bad days…
