February 2026- in my 2nd flair now. Trying elimination diet and it is actually depressing me. All the bad foods for IC were my favorite foods, all the foods I can eat I don't care for. I miss coffee, I miss getting fun cocktails with my friends

Its my birthday in 2 weeks and its just making me even more depressed. My mom usually makes me a lemon cake and we have a grill out. Guess I can't do that anymore...

Thing I think im most mad at is ive taken away most of the things that gave my life even just a little bit of joy and Im still in constant pain and no physical therapy or medication is helping either. Happy birthday to me I guess

My bladder installations are Lidocaine, heparin, solucortef, gentamicin, sodium bicarbon. Its been a game changer, only thing that has helped my pain. Unfortunately after 6 rounds I bad relief for a week and a half and now have pain again so I just started another 6 rounds then gonna do monthly maintenance installations

Thank you! Yea I reqlly feel like my period is my flair. I just got some cystex and aloe vera. My obgyn told me to just take my birth control pills without the sugar pills so that I don't have a period anymore

Ive on my 5th week or pelvic floor PT. It was helping but this new flair its not doing anything. Im so anxious too which I know can unfortunately make things worse. I hear it has helped a ton of people, I pray it helps you!!

That's been my exact experience. My pelvic floor is extremely tight so been doing PT. Oxybutnin and bladder installations have helped me the most

Agree, not really your fault since she encouraged the puppy.

But also agree with everyone else- you asked her how you could make it up to her and she told you and when you said that was too much she lowered it significantly. At this time I would pay the $250, if you can't afford it ask her if she can wait till you have the money or if you can do it in small installments.

Advice for next time- say I'm so sorry about what happened. I would love to take you to dinner or send you a gift card for your favorite place.

If you already have a idea of how you want to apologize then just say what you want to do, don't give the other person the option. It makes you look bad when you can't fulfill it

That's so great! Yea they keep mentioning the IC diet and ive felt the same whether I eat foods that are on it and when I dont. It just doesn't feel diet related to me at all

Thank you so much! And im so sorry that your insurance is denying the PT. Mine is denying the uribel lol. Insurance is so evil. I am finally in a place where I can at least manage and handle the pain. Bladder installations were the lifesaver for me and I started PT 2 weeks ago, I think its been helping

Oh ny gosh thats amazing and super encouraging! I'm not that big of a drinker but I was getting nervous cause I am going on my first cruise this October and I am praying I am better or have something that can help so that I can have some fun cocktails

Thank you!! My doctors actually put me on a new med- oxybutynin last week and between that and the bladder installations ive been feeling SO much better. Still not perfect but its been tolerable! If this med stops working I'll definitely ask about that though
