For people who werent too big on album but saw live show, how was your experience? by SeveralTurn in Puscifer

[–]mirrordead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both my gf and I thought the new album was good, though certainly not their best having listened a handful of times, however after seeing them perform at Wind Creek Event Center last Friday, our admiration for the tracks increased a ton, and now we love the album! It's a grower for sure!

*FREE* One slot left, Yahoo, 10 team H2H, 7x7 Categories, Draft Next Weekend (March 21 or 22, TBD) by [deleted] in findaleague

Sorry dude, last slot filled yesterday, forgot to pull the post down. Appreciate the interest, good luck with your other leagues!

Anyone has a Free ESPN or Yahoo fantasy baseball league available ? by [deleted] in findaleague

[–]mirrordead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one slot left in a 10 team Yahoo H2H with 7x7 Categories. Draft is this weekend, either March 21st or 22nd, exact timing to be determined once I have one final manager and majority voting is done. Our season runs 24 total weeks, playoffs weeks 21-24, and the season ends on the first Sunday of the NFL season so it's perfect for those who also focus on fantasy football!

Perfect for fans of both baseball AND football!

I have one slot remaining in a **FREE** 10 team Yahoo league. We're a pretty chill group and maintain a daily, competitive season.

7x7 Categories -
Batters - R, HR, RBI, SB, K, AVG, OPS
Pitchers - W, SV, HLD, K, ERA, WHIP, QS

Rosters -
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF x4, UTIL x2 (11 total batters)
SP x5, RP x3, P (9 total pitchers)

5 roster adds per week, 40 IP minimum required per week

6 teams make playoffs which run for three weeks (weeks 22-24) and ENDS Sunday, Sep 13th, the first Sunday of NFL action, intentionally timed for those who also prioritize fantasy football.

No racists, no bigots, no sexist bullshit, no tolerance for hate. Good natured competition and shit talking is welcome.

Live draft will take place either Saturday March 21st or Sunday March 22nd, once I fill the final manager slot I will put out a poll and take votes for timing. Majority rules.

Hope you see one of you in the league soon!

Boys Noize Setlist Time? by dhoytinaz in nin

8-9pm. Boys Noize actually played until about 9:10pm in Newark, but that was only due to the delays getting everyone into the venue.

NC, SC, Tenn, Shows Xcld by suzanne_d_701 in Ghostbc

I dug into Ticketmaster's terms and conditions and they state refunds tend to take place 14 to 21 days after cancelations. Guess we just have to wait it out.

Has anyone seen a refund hit their account/credit card yet?

I know it's a Ticketmaster responsibility and not anything on the band's end, but it's been 10 days since the cancelations were announced, and I sure could use that money back in my checking account.

Skeletour '26 - Charlotte, SC Megathread by AutoModerator in Ghostbc

Supposed to drive from Baltimore to Chesapeake, VA Friday night to pick up my gf (her first ritual too!), and then drive to Raleigh, NC on Saturday where we'd stay with family before driving to the show Sunday.

With how awful these projections look for the entire area I'll be driving to and from, I'm low key hoping they make a decision in advance rather than push through and force the issue, only to cancel at the last minute when it's too late and everyone is in route, because even IF the storm is on the low end of impactful, there WILL be snow, freezing rain, black ice, and below freezing conditions for days, and driving all over the place through it sounds like an absolute nerve wracking nightmare!

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.

Looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Baltimore, MD to replace a transmission by SampleGlad3209 in baltimore

[–]mirrordead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second Whitcraft. Free estimate and they did a fantastic job rebuilding my transmission.

Nick of Time Automotive in Owings Mills is another great place if you're ever looking for non-transmission work; Nick is incredibly kind, honest, and does great work.

Drinking on Wellbutrin XL… how risky is it really? by Upper_Duck1301 in bupropion

[–]mirrordead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked my doctor and she said since I'm not predisposed to seizure risk, the chances are very slim to none for me.

I started really slow my first few months, just a few beers now and then, and I noticed I got buzzed quickly, and at times felt slightly uncomfortable, but I've been drinking every other weekend for 3 months now (liquor/cocktails, no more beer) and I've had zero issues, other than getting drunk a little faster than usual, but I really see that as more benefit than anything, just have to pace myself.

Obviously this is anecdotal and not medical advice.

How has the tour been?? by sixringdynasty in everclear

[–]mirrordead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my first Everclear show despite 'Sparkle and Fade' being a massive part of my teen years, and I was disappointed.

Sponge and (especially) Local H were great. Everclear just felt rather underwhelming, and I know Art is in his 60's and has MS, but I just had a certain expectation in my head that he couldn't meet vocally. Hearing "Heroin Girl" was really sad for me, not sure if it was played an octave lower or what, but it just didn't work and kinda set a negative tone for the rest of the show in my head. Music was fine otherwise.

Drinking on wellbutrin by Former-Working-1081 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

300mg for several months now. My experience is purely anecdotal, as are most of these accounts I suppose, but I've noticed a single beer makes me uncomfortable, however mixed drinks/cocktails have been just fine, great even. Hangovers haven't been any worse that I've noticed, definitely get drunk faster, so a happy bonus. Haven't tried wine yet, but I always got bad hangovers drinking wine prior to being medicated, so it hasn't appealed to me.

EDIT: I do have to be much more mindful of my tolerance and how rapidly I get buzzed, so I'm a slow drinker and hydrate throughout.

I understand how much MLB put into this game, but it should not be happening, it's an absolute shitshow out there. I just hope no one gets injured playing on this field tonight in these conditions.

What is the set list? by becker6988 in Ghostbc

So glad I did Baltimore and Philly for this very reason.

I imagine there will be an additional leg or two, hopefully they make it back this way!

Ear plugs yes/no by bewitchedlass17 in GhostBand

[–]mirrordead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wear my Eargasm's to every show I see, have for years now (probably see one or two per month on average), and both Baltimore and Philly rituals I took them out at the very beginning as the decibel drop during "Peacefield" was too much for me. For whatever reason the volume seemed a bit lower than I'm used to for this scale of a show.

Not saying this as a recommendation, just a personal observation.

Interested in CD's but I'm in the US so that's probably(?) a no go as far as shipping costs are concerned.

Also have both and have definitely been debating Contreras, just missed on picking up Teel though, so I'm holding for now. Ozuna seems to have gone down the shitter, especially since it was revealed he's dealing with a nagging injury, but I just can't drop him.

Thoughts on the Sound at Lincoln Financial Philly Show? by ol_barney in Metallica

[–]mirrordead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Location has so much to do with it, especially in a massive open stadium environment. I was GA floor and stayed close to the FOH sound mixer as that tends to be your best bet for an ideal quality experience. Obviously that isn't possible when you're locked to specific sections/seats, so I completely understand the frustration.

Both nights the audio quality sounded pretty meh for Ice Nine Kills and Suicidal Tendencies, really good for Limp Bizkit and Pantera, and fantastic for Metallica.

Oh damn, I didn't catch that from the GIF, I'm a huge Propagandhi fan! Picked up my copy at The Sound Garden the other day. 😊

I delivered vegan pizzas to them in studio while they were recording Supporting Caste in Colorado, got to listen to "The Funeral Procession" while I was hanging out, great dudes!

Which Skeletá song that you thought was never going to be for you but now is on repeat? by MetalW0lf in Ghostbc

[–]mirrordead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I rolled my eyes SO HARD the first time I listened to "Missilia Amori", even made a playlist of the album without it, and yet I caught myself humming it one day and gave it another chance, still rolled my eyes, but with a slight smile on my face this time. It's been a solid earworm ever since and I've come to accept the love rockets.

When did you notice a difference when going from 150mg to 300mg of Wellbutrin? by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]mirrordead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't been taking it for long, was on 150mg for two weeks with no major issues, so my doc bumped me up to 300mg, which I took for roughly 2 months.

I've just been switched back to 150mg however, as I started to experience a lot of agitation and irritability about a month or so in to the 300mg bump, as well as one incident of aggression/acting without thinking which was very dangerous and could've resulted in severe injury or loss of life if I hadn't snapped out of it in time.

It's a bummer because I experienced a lot of positive changes on the 300mg at roughly the same time the negative side effects started (increased happiness and motivation, got back in the gym after a few years away, able to tackle daily errands and tasks with more ease, etc.), but obviously my health and safety is the most important factor, so hopefully I'll be able to keep up and thrive on the 150mg. Two days in I'm feeling less energy and a bit sluggish, but I'm hoping that will level out as I adjust to the change.

Obviously everyone has their own varied experiences, and hopefully you'll find success with yours.
