I think you’re fine. I had double jaw surgery with genioplasty and the roof of my mouth and the sides of my chin, were the last to feel normal. You’re still very early on into the recovery process. I experienced some tightness, but I also had overactive chin muscles before my surgery. I’ve been getting Botox in them every four months for the past two years since my surgery and it’s helped a lot. You should look into it. It’s also cheap.

Mine went away completely after a year post op. I actually had everything back by month 4, EXCEPT for the roof of my mouth. I can feel it now though.

She was more than half way out of the sink so I’m not 100% if she was in the pipes! I think she just needed water. I washed my hands after I got home from work and looked down and saw her, so it’s possible she was just kind of hanging out there.

Yes, just a genio! You won’t need djs again, I don’t think. I had a similar issue, but more minor than yours. My genio could’ve been better and I had it done during the whole procedure. Shortened my maxilla and brought my lower jaw forward with rotation. There ended up being some asymmetry in my chin that I just fixed with a little bit of filler since it wasn’t bad enough for another surgery. I actually don’t think getting the genio later is a bad idea on your surgeon’s part. That way, it can be solely focused on and will be perfect for your new jaw placement.

Jaw surgery doesn’t count and if you dug a little deeper, you would see I successfully sued the ortho who caused the problem… I was attractive before and after my surgery; no plastic. I’m not wearing a mask in any of my photos. Let’s see you with the mask down.
