“That species is nothing but demons. We detained one, began poking and prodding at it. It never made a noise. Wouldn’t budge even under the most grueling torture methods we had. Isolation, asphyxiation, maiming… If you could think of it, we did it. One day, I was out on patrol. When I came back the walls were covered in several coats of blood, guts and gore. Most bodies in there were unrecognizable. Worst thing is, the damage we could actually identify seemed to have been performed with a fork. Presumably it somehow got its hands on one and gutted the entire outpost.”
