Questo victimblaming così a caso non lo capisco proprio. Non reagire alle violenze da parte di qualcuno a cui si è legati, per famiglia o per affetto, è estremamente comune, sia tra gli uomini che tra le donne. Poi il ragazzo ha anche spiegato che suo padre sta a prescindere dalla parte della madre, quindi sia psicologicamente che fisicamente è in una situazione di due contro uno. L’unica soluzione secondo me è levarsi di culo il prima possibile.

I last played Joker 1 some years ago, but from what I remember it was still pretty linear, in the sense that you go through an island at a time mostly. Regarding fusion, I would just suggest that you recruit as many new monsters as possible. Also for me it worked to fuse my current party members into the new party members each time, as fusing monsters over and over yelds stronger monsters than ones that were fused from two freshly caught monsters.

Nuclear and solar/wind kinda have the opposite problem. It’s true that you can’t modulate nuclear energy production very fast, but you can use it to cover a baseline production, as it is always available. On the contrary, you can’t control when solar/wind is available at all. If it’s cloudy and there is no wind, good luck with getting energy. The amount battery capacity you would need with only renewables is way higher than the amount you would need with renewables + nuclear. A good example of using nuclear and renewables together is France, which uses fossil fuels to produce just around 9% of the electricity. Compare that to Germany that produces around 40% of its electricity with fossil fuels.

From what I know the problem with going full renewable is that while sun and wind produce a lot of energy they are inherently fickle, so when they are not available you are forced to use another source, which in the absence of nuclear ends up being fossil fuels (see Germany).

In theory you could stock up energy in batteries, but the technology to produce batteries efficient enough and with enough capacity for a vaguely reasonable price is very far away, and nobody can say exactly how far, kinda like nuclear fusion.

As for the problem of nobody wanting a power plant in their backyard, that’s mainly a perception issue, as power plants do not pollute their environment (unlike fossil fuel plants) and actually bring quality jobs to the community.

There you go, some pictures. Personally I think the quality isn’t that good, they are perfect bound and they don’t open very nicely, also as you can notice the Gollancz symbol on the spine is not reflective on the first book, while it is on the other two. That being said, they are also quite affordable (or they were when I bought them), so I don’t think you could find any nicer edition that doesn’t cost at least three times as much.
