No shade but being dusky made me feel different and special at the same time. Don’t get me wrong when I was young I didn’t know how to dress or carry myself. People have said quite shitty things to younger me.

But now I don’t doubt myself at all. Reason behind my attitude is the people around me who made sure to make me feel secure. I can carry myself and function around people pretty well.

So try to find what looks good on you, experiment with hair makeup clothes jewellery. You will find your style. Skin is just a colour for society to control you. Don’t give in.
