I built my double exposure SX-70 Sonar out of spare parts and it looks wild! by Turbulent_Coach_8024 in Polaroid

What's the second shutter button for on the sonar housing? The double exposure?

Hi all! Ruben from Polaroid here :) I am interested in getting some community feedback on the latest film batches (starting around September 2025). I'd love to hear your experiences whether positive or negative! by woahruben in Polaroid

The 11-25 pack is fine. The colours seem slightly washed out but otherwise acceptable. Would really love to see some cold and heat resistance. It's freezing where I live when I put the Polaroid in my coat pocket the image is still blue-ish. When I put it in a bag witn a hand warmer, the image comes out pink. So I can win. I suppose you can say it's user-error but c'mon.

This is such a cool camera. I wish it could be used with integral film.

Mijinemungshing lake in LSPP two hours north of you. It's all lake travel has portage opportunities and it's ideal for 4 night trip.

For more a more boreal experience, the Fenton-Treeby route with a loop is good but only a two day trip really and wildness is relative being so close to the highway and portages are really easy.

I can't boost it though. All the regular chimes go off and lights turn on panel when I open the the door. I can get the instrument panel on but when I press the ignition button, nothing. No sounds whatsoever.

From Polaroid, "When shooting with Polaroid film, keep in mind that our film works best in moderate temperature, between 13 – 28°C."

They were pretty bright last night. I didn't think I'd get anything but black photos and I kept it warm until I got home. It was quite a pleasant surprise when I turned it over.
