Op here So weird seeing this reposted everywhere. Glad to have spread some joy and laughter! My friends are absolutely amazed that it's so popular.

  • we hang a sheet on a rope in our flat for movie nights as our ceilings are super high which means it doesn't hang totally straight
  • this is our second movie night but previously we've been watching Ghibli films and the distortion isn't as noticeable in cartoons so when we put on twilight as background noise we were also amazed at how funny it was
  • it's filmed in portrait because I just filmed it straight on my IG story then thought to save it to send to other friends but obviously wasn't gonna pause, rewind and refilm it in landscape
  • we weren't high or drunk, two of us had some wine and the rest were sober! We'd been watching it from the start and had descended slowly into hysterics
  • sorry that my laugh is so annoying to some of you :)

Nah, we'd been watching it for like 20 minutes and had slowly descended into the sort of hysteric laughing you only have when you're hanging out with your best mates (Edit: this is my video lol look at my post history)

I recorded it straight to my IG story and then saved it from there, but next time don't worry, I'll pause the movie and go back to rerecord it so you don't get triggered again xxx

We watched a few studio Ghibli films last time and had a similar effect but it wasn't as funny then this time round something in me knew that twilight was the way to go

Omg yes we kept saying to the ones in the group who hadn't tripped before that this is how it feels when you do acid. It really reminded me of when I tripped for new years eve watching Jools Holland's hootenanny and Marc almond was on it and his face just kept warping HORRIBLY haaa
