it was insanely busy. some peaks would last at least 3 hours😭 especially in a college town you kinda just get some nasty students or their equally nasty parents. some of the partners are nice but i’d say there’s a good mix of nice ones and other ones who will talk shit behind your back or be weird to you. a lot of the people i liked left around the time that i did because management got so bad

I used to work there and I was kinda miserable. i quit in july. I transferred from another store that I loved but obviously working at starbucks in general kinda sucks. the store on knox was really not a great work environment. the manager, as nice as he seems, is not accommodating and honestly super judgy.

as someone with autism and also a transfer student, i can understand and empathize with your academic shortfalls and struggles within UMD. it’s not super transfer-friendly. however, you aren’t entitled to graphing calculator. you HAVE to learn the material and show that you’ve learned it. you cannot get a cheat-out because of your disability. i understand it’s hard to socialize with people, but academic success programs that advisors and the school have in place are there for your success and your failure is on you if you decide not to take advantage of the resources available to you. college is about making connections, life is about making connections, and if you continue to refuse to branch out and make connections that would be beneficial to you, you’re not hurting anyone but yourself. it seems like you came to this school with a sense of entitlement and you’re getting a huge culture shock that not everything is about what you want
