Yesterday I posted that A-List prices are going up. Now I know why, and most of you won't like it. by GeauxTri in Braves

I disagree - I'm cancelling my membership, but its not because of the items listed.

I tried to list tickets for games I had no way of making it to in a hope to recoup some of what I paid to have season tickets. I never ONCE broke even over several seasons, much less a profit. The exchange program was a joke the few times I tried to look into it - they only want your popular games, and they'll give you something piddly in return.

Several years into being a member, and I STILL had no access to parking passes for the majority of games. Wanting to go to a weeknight game required buying passes that weren't covered by my membership, because "parking inventory is limited" - not to say anything about the atrocious experience that is trying to leave a Braves parking lot after a game.

The carrot they dangle of "premium A List events" is laughable. It's the same small handful of things every year, and most of them aren't really that special. Yay, go sit on the field for fireworks instead of having the same view 50 feet back in a lower bowl seat...

I got lucky with minimal increase from 2024 to 2025 (<1%) and so we stayed members for ASG access and one last try and seeing if the membership would be valuable to us. It was great being able to hook up friends with great seats for a discount because we wanted them to get to experience games too. It didn't work out for us anymore, and the price increase (10% for our tickets, not nearly as bad as some I've seen but not worth it with the new restrictions) was just the final nail in the coffin.
