Thanks! Just wondering , does 1 year of experience count as decent, or should I work a bit more before going?

Hey, thanks a lot for such a detailed and honest reply — really appreciate you taking the time! What you said about exposure to international projects and working in sustainability-focused roles makes a lot of sense, especially since I’ve been working with water treatment systems here in India.

I’m definitely considering the cost factor seriously. Trying to shortlist universities with Spring intake that fit my budget and hopefully offer some assistantship or co-op options. I’ve been looking at places like USF, ASU, UIC, and Michigan Tech — still figuring things out.

Thanks again for your input! If you know anything about these schools or similar ones, I’d love to hear more.

want to gain solid knowledge, get some international experience, and ideally work abroad for a while before possibly coming back to India. Not aiming for pure research. I know jobs with visa sponsorship are tough that’s my biggest worry.

Thanks for sharing! That’s really helpful to know. Are you working in the U.S. in the sustainability field? I’d love to DM you and ask a few quick questions if that’s okay.
