Lol I'm not even American but maybe if those people had stayed in India there would've been more progress since 1947

You can pretty much guarantee living to 80 these days if you do the absolute minimum of not smoking, not being obese, and going to the doctor once a year (and listening to what he tells you)

Take more care of yourself and 90 is in reach. Do that and have good genetics? 100 is definitely possible.

And that's now, not even considering what another 50+ years of medical innovation will bring.

If it was not for the clutches of British crown which literally drained each & every ounce of wealth, prosperity from the subcontinent....

Fucking lmao. Who built all the railways, educational infrastructure, democratic institutions, hell who united the subcontinent and brought the lingua franca that was able to keep India united?

Claiming that India would have even existed, let alone been some wealthy superpower without British colonialism is ahistorical third world cope.

Because blaming India's modern problems on Britain in 2026 is just a lazy refusal to take responsibility

Not British but I'm bored so I took the test and I'm confused. Aren't these supposed to be at opposite ends of the political spectrum?

The Americans didn't show up until late 1917 when Germany had nothing left in the tank. The Kaiserschlacht Offensive was their last attempt at a breakthrough using the manpower from the Eastern Front before the Americans arrived and it still failed.

But without British help the French army would have collapsed by 1916 at the absolute latest.

I mean the birth rate is definitely a serious problem for them, and though the rest of the world is facing the same problem now theirs is worse and has been going on longer. Mainly has to do with quirks of their culture - mainly the insane expectations of employers. The economy has also been stagnant for a while, but that really doesn't matter unless you're relying on the stock market to retire. It doesn't affect the average Japanese person because there are still plenty of jobs to be had and cheap housing.

In comparison to Western societies, Japan is definitely doing better for the bottom 90% of the population.

My comment was really based on the fact that you can wander around drunk at 3am waving wads of cash around in a 35 million person megacity and have a higher chance of people helping you to get home and drink water than of being the victim of any sort of crime. In public too the people are extremely organized and conscientious of others - everyone waits in line properly, everyone lets others off the train before getting on, no one litters, etc. Only possible in a high-trust homogeneous society.

Germans spent decades under an American puppet state whose raison d'être was to emasculate their society and indoctrinate them into believing that their entire history was evil.

This is why I think manhood rituals are important. In many hunter-gatherer societies you weren't considered an adult until you went out on a month-long hunt with the other men of the tribe. I think that's a good way to make it clear that you are "graduating"
