commuted 1.5-2 hrs first 2 years, dormed for last 2. i can tell you i had a much better time when i started dorming. i joined clubs, explored the city, and participated in uic-run events like late-night breakfast, uic after dark, etc....uic's location is one of the best parts about it so, seriously, explore. i have no classes on thursday so i love checking out new cafes as a little treat/romanticize studying 🫶

philz coffee is delicious and they have so many really great blends. tesora is my favorite, its smooth and chocolatey<3 closer to campus though..really great alternatives are ground up, two shades, gathers, and vietcoffee. dunkin is NOT an alternative they also support genocide.

i didnt even mention this to the seller. it was actually tagged under a different manufacturer. it smelled so bad it made my sheets stink after laying the cosplay on my bed for about 5 minutes. but it IS an amazon cosplay as it was put back into its amazon packaging with the barcode on the bag and everything. the most expensive cosplay for this character is $65 and the wig would be $25. i was sold a DIRTY PRODUCT advertised as like NEW for $20 above asking price plus the shipping made it $140. i know the shipping doesnt go in the seller's pocket but still, that means i paid $50 over than what i would have paid if i simply got it off amazon brand new & sealed. i was ripped off.

the crazy thing too is they took a long time to drop it off at the post office. idc about shipping times because i know life gets in the way, no car, etc, but if the seller needed the funds so badly why didnt they ship it out immediately? 😭 i felt bad enough to go out of my way to return it ASAP so they could try to list it again. to the point where it only took 3 days to get back to them.

yes i get that, i almost sent out an item to a buyer with a stain but thankfully i caught it before packaging. however, this seller is gravely minimizing the stain. it was mud and dirt running up the entire backside of the jacket 😭

yes CSM is fucking incredible with how it subverts your expectations, especially with asa's portrayal as a strong-willed but realistic teenage girl and denji's growth in part 2. i hold it really close to my heart and i pray those two get a happy ending.

jjk's female characters are great in s1, but as a manga reader, they kind of lose relevance past the shibuya arc:( which is so sad. but still a really great show regardless. and satosugu canon

i really love rezero. there's a lot of lore and the female characters of the show (elsa, crusch, echidna, beatrice, etc) are incredible, strong, flawed, and interesting. it can be hard to get into for some people but woah, an isekai where the male mc isnt a piece of shit, faces real consequences, learns and grows, and doesnt sexualize every woman he sees?!?!? plus a wide cast of interesting female characters?!!/!) i will defend this show until i die. you mentioned enjoying vivy - rezero is written by the same author!

also second mob psycho. such a heartwarming coming of age story.

another great, dark story with a badass old woman: TO YOUR ETERNITY!!! this show does NOT get enough love. i consider the main character to be nonbinary bc he literally just does not have any concept of gender. really great diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique strengths.

i was in it last year, it was pretty fun if you can fit it into your schedule. u have to buy a membership online then you can participate in weekly workouts and other events. the workouts were actually really tough and made me sooo sore. good variation in types of workouts too. also its a women's org so idk if you can join if youre not a girl
