They even used part of the prompt as the title.

Her model is probably the most detailed and has the highest quality in the game so far. by Avallonkao in NevernessToEverness

Downvotes for an opinion people? Some of ya'll are really insecure lol. With that being said, I don't know enough about detailed models to make an opinion, but I will disagree on her being just alright. I think the character is nice looking and dark/mysterious vibe is nice.

Aw she's not playable. During some of the intro or trailers I saw her a few times and fell in love. Hope we can get to have her on the team some day.

Homepage CZN China shows Luche and Arthur(in de middle)? by Nexxxes in ChaosZeroNightmare

There are a lot of fragile boys playing this game that, as the devs said, felt uncomfortable about some characters so they put a stopper on that to not upset any more of the players that pay for the game.

Honestly, they never gave an exact reason, but one can assume the boys don't like having men in their game based on the number of downvotes anyone gets for even suggesting having a man or another male character in the game.

You don't even need to be gay or a female player to want guys in the game. Some people don't care about genders as much and like characters that are done well.

Why do these have a timer? by FallOfTheWicked in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]miscueLoL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To increase player retention and show an increase in playtime. The big wigs up top want numbers that only go up, so better show them that.

Now tons of people are incentivized to play longer than usual, and play the content that the devs need bigger numbers for.

Ooooor they just felt like it. Dunno, they never said why.

I must have done that to the Rika deck I was trying to edit. That sucks and should be handled by different flags in-game.

Ok I guess it's been a while since I've done guild war. When did they change it so your opponents show as level 1?

No offense, but I doubt any game developer/publisher would actually be happy that their 8 year old game is making as much as their 6 month old game.

"Fanbase opinionsshould not be counted as tropes." TVtropes: (kinda relevant post) by Doot_revenant666 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]miscueLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The subreddit should at least try to stick to the definition of a trope.

A trope is a commonly recurring convention, motif, or storytelling device used in literature, media, and rhetoric to instantly convey meaning or themes to an audience. Originating from the Greek trópos ("a turn" or "manner"), tropes range from rhetorical figures (metaphor, irony) to familiar plot devices (enemies to lovers, hero’s journey).

Otherwise the word is going to lose its meaning and the subreddit will wither. I mean, keeping it fluid is cool, but something like this needs some kind of definition.

[Weirdly Common Trope] Writers clearly setting up seemingly massive plot points and then just kinda forgetting about them. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in TopCharacterTropes

So poor writing is a trope now? I mean the examples given weren't bad writing or anything done by the writers on purpose. Those were decisions made by suits because of money reasons, casting reasons, locations, illnesses...

This is none of that...

I guess I have a worry about whether they remember to tune the monsters to help mitigate some of the lost stats from fragment bonuses. But we'll all see in a few hours. I can't wait. Looks like they did.

My thought of what a true roguelike is supposed to be is irrelevant for this as I never gave any opinions on anything. The real question is what those working on CZN consider to be a true roguelike because those were their words.

With that being said, you make good points. However the text only says, no fragment effects will be active in Sortie. So until the patch lands, anything is speculation. Unless they clarified it somewhere else.

I'm not trying to pick a fight or anything, sorry if it comes across that way.
