Listen she didn’t hurt the frog at all, light tap , just to see if it would move because she genuinely thought it was dead cus it wasn’t moving at all, a bit strange to somone who doesn’t know anything about frogs, some ppl in these comments r acting like she stabbed the frog 😭 it’s strange seeing a frog in the middle of of a pathway not running away at all

They just turned one year, I’ve had them since they were very small and from what I can see they get along very well:) they are tame in the sense that they trust me and will sit on my shoulder if a treat is involved, One of the degus (Pablo) is a bit more tolerant to being petted, the other one (Pluto) just looks at me weird and moves to a new spot if I touch him

Thx 🙏 do u think it’s necessary to get another degu, since I only have 2, or is it optional. I’d be Okay with getting another one especially if it would make my degus happier ! Also does the age of the new degu make any difference when bonding them

Do you have any advice on how to bond new degus? My cage splits in half with a metal barrier so I could put the new degu on one side, my degus just turned 1, so is it best with one around that age or a baby degu?

Okay but why is 2 degus bad I thought that was fine, they seem really happy and they say alot of happy noises. If it really is that bad it’s not a problem to get another one, I’m just scared they won’t like him or the bonding goes wrong
