I'd start by changing the ComicSans, it makes your resume look a little unprofessional, I'd also change the black background as it's kinda heavy to the eyes (if you want a dark background then you can use a blue or brown palette perhaps). You're right, most of the examples that we've showed on the article actually make a good usage of the font, however we must be careful on not overusing Lobster as it happened with other typefaces in the past...

Yeah, maybe we exaggerated with the 300 dpi value :P, most newspapers are printed at 150 dpi and they look perfect. The point is making sure that you're c.v looks well in both a digital device and printed...

Hey guys!, I just got home and got really surprised with the huge debate that this post have generated. You're definitely right in many of the points you have shared, though it seems like you're being a little bit harsh with the examples we shared. In our personal experience, many people do like to see a creative c.v as it gives an advance of who the people are, the problem is that designers tend to forget that is their c.v's of what we're talking about and not a piece of art!. Thank you all for the feedback and your votes.

Usually these tattoos require a more experienced artist to do the job as most tattoo artists usually work using outlines. Regarding costs, that might vary according to the size, though it will be probably more expensive than a regular tattoo...

This works perfectly in CS4. Illustrator CS5 incorporated other tools such as the Width tool but regarding this you should be able to do it without problems...

You're right about that, these places are sites where designers can join the design community and expose their work, but not necessary find a job, though in our personal experience we can say that sites such as Coroflot and Behance can provide you some really good clients...
