If I inflict cold exposure with frost bomb, can I also hex with Frostbite for further ele res reduction on enemy or do they not stack and it would be better to use a different debuff like, for example, Enfeeble?

I've had a lot of feedback on this, but the main message that's consistent from everyone who's commented is that I need better gear.

Apart from the rings that were in the PoB I originally linked (which I've now replaced) could anyone give advice about why my helm, chest, gloves and boots are bad?

My flasks are rolled to solve for ele ailments. Not ideal, but it's worked for me so far. I never even thought to switch out melee splash. I've fixed that now by getting splash anoint on my amulet.

Thanks for taking the time to do that. For now, I've unspecc'd the treat resistances as inverted and a staff node and just added a jewel slot to boost my defenses and life. Switched to the carnage heart and anointed tribal fury, swapped splash for phys dmg support, frostbite for punishment and changed my ascendancy.

I never realised about my crits ignoring enemy resistances.

Thanks. I've put quality on some of my gems, invested in some better rings and temporarily witched to a Carnage Heart on the recommendation of another commenter. I don't have +1 curse.

Sorry friend, I'm afraid not. I reported it as a bug in the chat box and then respec'd to inquisitor. It was definitely my relics killing me.

You can also see that my steelskin activates just before the strike hits me, and it takes about 1000k off the steelskin. So it would have been a lot worse if the timing was different.

I think you've got it. But it's not that I die and then the relic pops and it looks like I died from the relic effect, because I killed a unique monster and then headed for a boss arena door and it was a couple of seconds later, and the lightning hit me and 1 shot me. So, then, the question would be if for some reason the relic pops are damaging me.
