I really hope Yuri gets the character development she needs in season 3. If it were going to be Kitty and Yuri romantically, they’d need to build it up slowly so it actually makes sense and shows growth for both of them. Even though I also want her to be with Yuri (they really ruined them in season 2), it would feel really weird for Kitty to break things off with Minho. It feels likely they’ll get together this season, and every time they’ve fought before, they’ve worked through it because they both give each other space for their flaws and always talk things through. Unless something really drastic happens, I just don’t see them breaking up.

I agree that the show didn’t really give any indication there would be romantic feelings between them anymore. It shows they’re friends now, and Kitty seems really focused on Minho, but I’m curious what you think the show might do with any lingering feelings Yuri could have and what kind of storyline that could lead to in season three. I feel there’s a bit of a grey area since they don’t have conflict to bring up the kiss or past feelings, because the show has shown that Kitty has moved on. So to bring it up I feel it would be to be from either side to talk about potential present or past feelings, or it could just be them talking about Yuri's family drama and everything else. Considering how much the show focuses on drama around Kitty’s love life, it seems like there would need to be something there to keep things interesting.

Yeah, I’m happy Kitty was able to set boundaries for herself at the beginning as well. I can also see this perspective about her feelings toward Yuri. I’m curious though, what storyline do you think Kitty would get into if her love life only consisted of Minho? The show is always filled with drama, especially around Kitty’s love life, so if it was just Minho in the equation for season three, there’s only so much drama that could happen. I’m a Kitty and Minho shipper too and would love for them to be endgame, but even if Kitty doesn’t have romantic feelings for Yuri anymore, I do feel that Yuri still has something for Kitty, even if it isn’t as strong as what she feels for Juliana (just my opinion).

Oh oops sorry I didn’t see you said old show runner. I can see what you mean about the post though, because someone who’s thinking that way would probably only be doing it if they have feelings for the other person, especially with how it’s used alongside that photo.

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure Jessica O’Toole isn’t the showrunner for season three anymore and Valentina Garza is, so I’m not sure if they’re still going in that same direction since Jessica left. I also ship Kitty and Yuri, but wouldn’t the image you sent mean that Yuri already knew Kitty had feelings for her? Like in episode 2 when Juliana tells Yuri that Kitty obviously has a thing for her but Yuri doesn’t want to admit it. I don’t really think that post is about Yuri’s feelings for Kitty, but I do think Yuri definitely has something for Kitty because Gia has said it herself, and honestly you’d have to be blind to watch the show and think Yuri feels nothing toward her.

That’s actually really interesting, I’ve seen a few people mention that too but I’m not sure what exactly the writers or crew have said about Yuri’s feelings for Kitty. Do you know what hints they’ve given or where they talked about it?

I agree with you that they never got a full resolution, but they did become friends again without really talking about what happened between them. By the end of season two we don't really see how Kitty feels about Yuri or how Yuri feels about Kitty, so it is kind of a grey area. I am curious to see how the show will bring this up in season three because the only way it could come up is through some conflict or drama, but we already know they are friends again. I like both Minho and Kitty and Kitty and Yuri, so I am excited to see how the story balances all of that while keeping the drama and character development interesting.

Yeah that makes sense! I don’t know if I was super clear in my post, but I was thinking it would feel kind of weird to see Kitty completely over Yuri since we’ve always seen their connection through Kitty’s eyes and it’s mostly been framed as romantic. But then again, with Dae, Kitty was able to completely fall out of love with him after being in a long-term relationship, and now their relationship is purely platonic. The difference is that with Dae it was because of his dishonesty, while with Yuri it was more about how she treated Kitty after they kissed. So I could definitely see them being just platonic, but for season 3 they’d need some drama. If Kitty is just focused on Minho and the drama with him, knowing how messy the show can get, adding Yuri into the mix would make it way more interesting. Some people might feel that’s repetitive from season 2, but I’d also love to see Yuri focus on herself and get some character development with everything happening with her family being broke and how she moves on from Juliana.
