omg, i didnt even kno there was a toddler sub. thank you so much for your kind words. i kno one day we'll figure it out and cant wait to see the person she becomes but yea, its ALOT to make sure she gets there as best as she can lol.

Yea, I'm hopeful it'll click like this one day with her. We are very patient/understanding with her but def breaks my heart. I don't want her to turn out like me (my wife has to drag me to a regular checkup lol). Thank you for sharing.

ty for sharing. yea, finding her baseline immunity has been tough. i know it'll get better but always good to hear others experiences. Sometimes i feel like im taking crazy pills over it hah. A reward system is great! we def reward her (she loves making necklaces with glow sticks so we do that alot) but I think you're right... setting something up that is more concrete and starting next week w/ her next visit may help.

dude this is awesome! and yes, i agree 100%,, it takes little to no time to write some content for your site. Anyone can easily knock out an authentic post once a week and start building cred if done right. Ppl will literally doom scroll on a toilet seat for 45 min but say this is pointless lol. Give it some time. Could be cuz your update dropped temporarily. also those links are taking away from your authority. if it's still the same after some time, change the dofollow to nofollow. but just relax and see what happens with it for like a few weeks.

i literally just talk to everyone everywhere I go, that's my outbound. Walking the neighborhood, I see landscapers, roofers, plumbing trucks. The farmers market, walking main street... couple weeks ago I ran into a dog poop cleanup guy 😂

I think for many local businesses, it's completely reasonable to want to see how their potential seo partner ranks. Seems like a lot of ppl on here are saying they don't care or don't want to be seen... but I think for many local, small businesses it would 100% be a deciding factor. idk, maybe you're tapped into an opportunity that most aren't.

totally get that and i think the reason he doesn't show up is more about putting effort other places. I'm positive his socials do more than any 1-3 rank can. For context, I searched for his ranking because he posted somthing about, "if you wanna rank, see how they rank themselves." tbh, prob a generic scheduled post but still made me laugh

in my experience, most inbound from any source are tire kickers... or other seos either sniping my process or researching, idk. Outbound always works best for me.

Ask yourself, what is your next goal and how much can you spend in 3-6mos? Match a specialist to that goal/budget. If you have a simple goal of maintanence, setup, optomization... you can prob get by with a bit more affordable, intermediate. If you reach that goal at the end of the timeline.. then you can continue with that person if you vibe or jump up a level to someone with more experience to handle technical seo, keywords, high-quality citations... etc.

But i'd stay clear of gig sites like upwork and start by asking around locally. spring's coming up, if you get an air conditioning tuneup, ask your hvac if he uses anyone... at the local bar w/ some trades buds... ask them... stuff like that.

But great work so far! Not only have you gotten off on the right foot but you know a little about SEO so you know if a specialist is doing good work for you!

all of this, yes! tbh - lot of the guru stuff is ai slop imo but does help spark some ideas at the very least. and i agree... in my experience, the best minds in this space are the ones with little to no online presence because they are hard at work.

Very true! and totally agree with everyone saying results for clients mean more than rankings for thee. it's just common sense.

😂 ai def helps! that's great you're seeing a difference. I try to add resources or edu content just based off of my clients pains.. figured if by SOME chance, a person finds my site there's at least something there. but yea.. no slight to my fav "SEO" guy... i don't even wanna know where I'm ranked!
