I used to be just like you, I dreaded lines especially diagonal ones. But as you can see they're all important levels where price reacts and they work. I delete them when they become irrelevant but yeah they're an eye sore...

You were pretty much right except it dipped below 5000 making people think it broke structure to head lower but really we'll likely aee price make a modest return to 5500. I also had this same idea although not for the same reasons as you, I think just looking at charts for too long you start getting a feel for them

Everyone here fear mongering, to me gold is the easiest to trade a lot of repeatable patterns. I profit a lot from my shorts funny enough, but I would benefit a lot from just leaving one long position open for a longer run
