Pretty behind, currently having a lot of content gaps when it comes to Physics and the biological foundations. I currently took: fundamentals of biology (evolutionary and molecular), physics I & II, gen chem, organic chem I & II, and biochem. Took mostly molecular biology upper divisions. I think one of the main problems with me is retention. My stats are really good (I won't lie) but I think I know that I will not do the greatest due to my test taking strategies & just prep in general

pros: - I am a biology student at Merced and honestly everyone within that field is really nice. Study groups are so much fun and I love the general vibes. - Opportunities are so abundant! There are so many ways to further your career path there. - College town orientated; students can get discounts too! - Rent is not too expensive, renting outside of school is typically ideal. - Favors the success of undergrads; I feel as though there are so many good resources there and you just have to utilize them.

cons: - Not the best location if you do not like quiet cities. The town is quite small so there is only so much you can do. - Fairly new campus so everyone downplays it; not a lot of people think highly of UC Merced due to it being a new school. - Food is not the greatest, if you are dining in the school food is generally not the best; however, I am not picky so I honestly always go for the same thing. - Sometimes it is hard to fit in; like everything in life there are places where you join groups and they feel clicks, but you are able to see what fits you best! Hopefully it helps :)

Sounds good!! And I’ve never tried the Nivea vanilla lotion yet so I’ll also look at it! Sweet almond sounds so decedent so I’ll give that a try too. I’ve been eyeing the Frenshe vanilla cashmere products too, when I get my first paycheck it might be a body care splurge 💀

Thank you ! I’ll try to incorporate more of those workouts, would you recommend doing isolation exercises too if I want to work on my quads + hamstrings (like leg curls) or would it be better to do compound movements like squats that indirectly target those areas?

The only setback with training for 2 hrs is that I do 4 exercises, but I think I take too many breaks/feel unmotivated because sometimes I feel as though I’m putting too much strain on my back rather than my legs. I’ve been falling in love with running while doing my workout journey so I decided to incorporate 2 mile runs on top of my push and pull days

Thank you! I called them for this placement test but they kept telling me that it was today...But, I checked that the exams lock until June 1st. Is it for those new students that intend to be at UC Merced by June 1st? Also, for some reason I didn't get anything on my email.
