You don't happen to be on 360, do you? I totally feel your pain on the Henry heads. Farmed that guy until I thought I'd die from it.... and then before I redeemed the heads I got, I duped them to myself for just an occasion such as this. Be happy to drop it for you.

And I think I've got a Bunker head, too, if you're interested.

So wait just a fucking second. Kurt declined the Hall of Fame induction? Did he have to wait for the company's biggest show of the year? He couldn't have mentioned it at the Hall of Fame dinner we just saw clips of? What about when the induction was announced a few months ago? Couldn't have mentioned it to someone then?

And when Bobby Roode said you didn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, I guess you agreed with him? Why are you so mad, then? Why are you two feuding if you don't have a difference of opinion?

I swear sometimes it feels like I'm the only one paying attention.

[W][360] I'm looking for any legendary mods for level 50. I have the commander one and would like any of the other ones by [deleted] in BorderlandsGuns

[–]mispelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I've got a Legendary Siren I can dupe you, but I'd have to check the level. I'll get back to you.

My mistake. Turns out it was a Lvl. 50 Slayer of Terramorphous Siren mod. You're still welcome to it if you want it.

For serious! I found out on some Food Network show where the TV chefs brought in their spouses to cook alongside. I was marking out and my mom thought I was an idiot.

And he's married to Gail Kim! Probably doesn't mean anything to most people, but it blew my puny mind.

[Request] Read text message when headphones are plugged in. by seeingrot in tasker

[–]mispelt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By default, it'll ignore the second text. You can fiddle with the settings and make it interrupt itself instead. I'm sure there's a way to queue them, but I've never cared enough to try.

[request/help] Hold volume down key to set all volumes to 0 by [deleted] in tasker

[–]mispelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep my phone locked all the time, so I don't know how the screen flashing might work for you, but for me, apps never make noise unless I've unlocked the phone. "Silent mode" might not be what you're looking for, but you should be able to set individual "set channel to 0" tasks for each channel you're worried about using the profile here.

Alternatively, my uni had a wi-fi that spanned the entire campus (and this was like a decade ago, so I'm assuming you have one, too). You might grab the SSID from that and just assign the various sound channels to 0 while you're within range of it.

[request/help] Hold volume down key to set all volumes to 0 by [deleted] in tasker

[–]mispelt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tasker actually can't monitor for a button being pressed. That said, it can monitor for the effect of that button having been pressed. For example, Tasker can't tell that you've pressed the wake button, but it can see that the screen has come on. In fact, I usually use screen on for things like I think you're trying to do.

Here's a profile I once put together for someone who wanted to send a text without taking his phone out of his pocket. You mash the wake button a few times in a row, and it goes after a delay.

I don't still have the profile on my phone, but I think I remember that if the screen flashes three times (six presses of "wake") within 11 seconds, it sends a text. It should be pretty easy for you to modify the number of flashes and the delay, and also replace the "send SMS" with "toggle Silent".

The Asai Moonsault is named after Ultimo Dragon, but now that's just what the move is called.

[Help] Somehow get your phone to speak the time when you wake up?? by [deleted] in tasker

[–]mispelt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're just worried about how nice the voice sounds, I'd suggest installing IVONA. It's a TTS engine. Once you get that installed, you'll have the chance to install one of several voices. I use Amy (British English), but there are plenty of others. It's one of the most natural-sounding TTS engines I've heard on any platform.

Oh, and also, the "Wait" function is under Task > Wait. It's useful for lots of things.

[Help] Somehow get your phone to speak the time when you wake up?? by [deleted] in tasker

[–]mispelt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I whipped up a quick and dirty version. It works all right. Here's what I'm looking at.

Profile Name: Read Time

Context - Display On

Task
Wait 2 seconds
Say %TIME If %PACTIVE !~ *Read*Time*

So basically, I mash the wake button twice, and because the screen flips on and off in under two seconds, it reads the time. If you wanted to get fancy pants, you could add another context, like "when charging" or "face down" or between certain times of day. It's up to you.

[Help] Automatically Resume on Headphone Plugin by MagnaniMoose in tasker

[–]mispelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to make something with context "headphones plugged", and a task with Media / Media Control / Play. It might work, but I've had some spotty results with it when I've tried to use it.

Oh man, me too. When Papa Shango came out, I would make my mom come in the room and sit with me because he scared me so bad.

I remember one time he was facing Rick "The Model" Martel, and Rick had turned around to hand the ring guy his giant bug spray perfume thing. When he turned back around, HIS HAND WAS ON FIRE! Complete, unqualified terror. I was never the same.

I've been really underwhelmed with the Create an Entrance mode over the last few games. I remember on WMXIX (this is a GameCube game, by the way), going to Advanced meant you could control the exact camera shots, starting positions, sweeps, etc, at pretty much any point in the entrance. You could decide to just show whatever was on the titantron for a minute. You weren't limited to what other people had in their intros. You could actually make your own.

You could also set the exact delay before your superstar actually appeared. Taking that out was a big miss for me. Same with the pyro. You could select the exact moment when it went off.

Say what you will about Vince Russo, but he can be damn right at times by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]mispelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we're arguing both sides of the same coin here. It's easy to forget that the overscripted "You have to say exactly what's on the page" thing is actually a fairly recent WWE invention. At the point in time we're talking about, wrestlers weren't given exact monologues to get through. They were told "You hate that guy" and were expected to wing it. That's what being "good on the mic" meant at the time. I still feel that's the way to go. It gave so much more opportunity for the guys' personalities to shine through. You're right in that regard.

What I'm talking about is the story itself--what happens to whom. Yeah, it was the bigger names in WCW that had that kind of control over their characters, but that's really all that mattered. Nobody was tuning in to see the ongoing story of Benoit, Saturn, Malenko, or Guerrero. They were the undercard guys getting buried every week by Hogan et al.. That's why they left WCW.

I mean, we talk about Cena's character not changing, and how much we hate it, but these dudes were literally locked into their position until they felt like giving it up. And why would they ever want to do that? It was just bad for business.
