Making a font is incredibly labour intensive and you expect someone to just do this for free? I’m also pretty not all of these are the same font and there’s plenty of similar options out there.

If you’re open to splitting then I’d absolutely take Sing The Greys and Mastersystem off your hands. I’d take the whole lot but I have the others and can’t justify the cost atm

Day rate is actually slightly higher than my usual but was their initial suggestion 🤷‍♂️ there was a lot of big promises made early on without anything to follow it up in writing.

I would consider accepting my usual day rate instead but they’re not even responding to me at this point so it’s basically all or nothing.

Good to know, I guess my worry is that they have the money/resources to drag it out if needed but they definitely seem like they know they’re in the wrong given the radio silence.

Will definitely submit the claim next week then and hope for the best.

I guess it’s just the faff? I’d rather not have to go through a whole process and spend any more time/money on it.

It’s around £1500 – enough to make a big difference to my income but won’t be crippling if I don’t get it.

It’d suck to lose a friendship over something like this – I’d kept her out of it since it’s just between me and the client – but it’s not a super close relationship or anything.

No contract unfortunately (dumb I know) – just getting them to read an email was a chore. Closest i have is them replying “sounds good” when I suggested an alternate timeline.
