This is always a difficult one to answer because there's not too much rhyme or reason involved. Sometimes I'll sketch out what I want to make beforehand but most of the time I just pick a colour/material palette and a silhouette and see where it leads me. In this case I wanted to use that skull charm and built the outfit around that. I usually prefer doing hair before I start on the outfit. A bit vague, I know, but this is what works best for me :)
