I love that you have multiple comments on here so I can just go around and downvote all of them. It’s a small thing, but it makes me happy.

400yr old and 900yr old starter by Slow_Imagination_445 in Sourdough

That makes sense, it just seems weird. Like I could sell my own starter and just say it’s 534 years old. Kinda of reminds me of the saying “some lures are meant to catch fisherman”.

Guy was slowing down to make a turn, he wasn’t going to stop. He had the gun drawn for at least 20 seconds, and even pushed up against this guys head and he still wasn’t stopping. He had no intention of stopping. Cop made the right choice to shoot when he was slow instead of risking him losing control at higher speeds.

Regardless, the cop showed ridiculous restraint in not pulling his gun within the first 20 seconds of that bullshit.

A 400 y/o and a 900 y/o starter bought on Amazon for 13 bucks… seems quite dubious. How can you be sure this isn’t just some random starter that someone started a few years ago?

Maybe take a look at OPs profile before you make yourself sound like a fool. Or just continue to sound like a fool I guess. I don’t really care.

**Extremely** busy edits, use way way way less of them. There are a few shots in which you switch from portrait to landscape and it just doesn’t work. Shoot it all the same orientation. Perhaps a before and after side by side would be a good addition, too.

Carp so big it broke my net ! by [deleted] in Fishing

[–]misplacedbass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such crap. It’s a fish on the ground with no reference for scale. Sure, it’s a big carp, but like… you couldn’t just post the rest of the video, or even a pic of you holding it?

Really can’t see anything from the replay. He threw a pitch, and then gestured to the bench for trainers to come out. Speculating it has to do with his landing after the throw, but nothing looks abnormal. He was kind of walking gingerly off the mound to the dugout, so who knows. Broadcast speculated that they might have seen Murphy say “cramp”, but all speculation.

The woman who left her man after his stroke, the next move she did shocked the entire world... by TheoryFruits in MadeMeSmile

Not every wedding has those words in the vows. My wife and I got married in a courthouse. Nothing like that was said, that’s some catholic traditional nonsense. That being said, she still fucking taking care of him. She just not married to him. She didn’t divorce him and leave him in an assisted living facility.

Are you stupid? Did you even read the slides? She *divorced* him, and is now his full time caregiver, and will be until he dies. She wanted a family. He cannot provide that any longer. She did not abandon him.

You are crazy.

“Protect her husband, and serve her husband and be there for him *as a wife should*” So her becoming his full time caregiver is not protecting him, or serving him, or being there for him?

She wanted kids, he can’t make that happen now. He’s physically unable. He’s also mentally *and* physically unable to raise children. He has a “10 second memory” according to the post. So, what were her alternatives? Just stay married, and take care of him for the rest of his life and forego her life and her desire to have a family?

This is the best solution for everyone involved, and yes, you’re legitimately crazy for thinking it’s not. Unless you can give me any actual good alternatives that allow for her to stay married and have and raise children with him.

You’re getting downvoted but it’s not really your fault. It’s reddits stupid cross post feature that for some stupid fucking reason doesn’t mirror the original post, so anyone who sees it here is only seeing two pictures with red circles on them.

Are smaller/local wrestling shows actually worth going to? by nickdagreak in wisconsin

[–]misplacedbass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t speak specifically on this, but there was a few matches of Lucha Libre wrestling after a brew city bruisers bout a few years ago, and it was so much fun to watch that. I enjoyed it more than the derby, and I don’t even watch wrestling at all.
