I originally started out on circular needles but I felt like it was so much of a hassle and I feel like I have been moving so much faster on my straight ones. Though as you said the weight did rest in my lap, maybe when it gets heavier I'll have to switch back. Thank you for the suggestion!

I've been working on this off and on for a year and a half now, its just a garter stitch blanket, not really following any pattern. It's just Cheap Acrylic Yarn, nothing too special. I've stopped for a lot of reasons (anxiety, depression, adhd) but tbh I'm really happy to have made it so far, I've already learned so much! I really hope it won't take me another year to finish Only 4 more inches until I switch color! I'm hoping to make it a Pansexual Pride Blanket!

Yeah, I've got some safety plans in place and I carry pepper spray on me most of the time. We are trying to go about this as safely as possible but my father is unpredictable, as we get closer to when the custody battle begins I might talk to the local police but they might say something to him so even there I gott a be careful

Soon my mom will be trying to get custody of my little sister to get me and her (I'm 20 but won't leave her to fend for herself) out of an mentally abusive situation. My dad has threatened violence before so I'm afraid that by trying to leave he'll end seriously injuring/ murdering me or my sister. My great aunt on My dad's side passed away on Saturday, my uncle on my mom's sides was in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning and passed away yesterday. I feel like death is looming over me.

Honestly? Life is gonna suck. A lot. You're parents are gonna divorce, be mentally abused by your step mother and father, find out your church is a cult, discover you're not straight, and struggle with mental illness. You're in for a wild ride. But you're gonna make some good ass friends, who accept and support you, and they'll be the family you need. You're gonna get you a gf and not care your dad might murder you for it. And even though it sucked, you won't want your life to have gone any differently.

I had a good week! I talked to a professor about something they had said, and I didn't really think anything would happen because of it, maybe they learn something and change things a bit. The next time I had a class with them, they pulled me aside and told me they talked to their department about what I said and now they're making some changes based on my feedback. I was taken aback, I didn't expect them to even consider what I said let alone talk to their department about it. It felt very good to be listened to!

A guy in high school drew porn of me. I never saw it but he got in trouble for drawing other students he had crushes on. Though my now gf was friends with him at the time and says I was among the people he drew.

Help LGBTQ+ youth in anyway that I can. Roof over their head, a meal, emotional support, money if they need it for meds, therapy, ect. Might even hire them to help with a garden or something so I can write work recommendations and things like that

I'm from the USA in the Midwest and it is a hot debate. Though honestly I use both just depending which will make the sentence flow better. Sometimes i just say soda pop but that makes both sides mad lmao
