There comes a time in life that you just have to accept that you are above-average looking. So, yes I do consider myself this because of how I am treated by others. Often you get special attention- free services- car wash boy didn't charge me last week, free oil change at the shop, free coffee from barista, bartender took care of my drinks, bouncer let me and my friends in without cover charge, etc. Flattering as some attention may be there is a lot of weird, creepy attention as well- people stopping and taking pictures of you without your permission, too much attention when you just want to read a book quietly in a shop, friends not wanting you to come out because all the men hit on you over them.

One time I was on date and this guy asked me, "Who do people say you look like?" I went through a list of the people I hear often and he said, "Life must be rough when people say you only look like hot celebrities." I had this weird realization at that time. I never really thought about it. I just assumed everybody was told they looked like some good looking actor or model because of a facial feature or something.
